Registration

SPORTS PLUS is a non-profit organization that offers a uniquely structured program for participants ages 5 to 25, who are able to follow simple directions with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorders, ADD/ADHD and other developmental disabilities.

The SPORTS PLUS soccer program features unique skill development techniques, highly trained coaches, special education professionals and parent and sibling involvement. Teamwork, social skills and sportsmanship are stressed at all classes.

Each class finishes with a game designed to be enjoyable and successful for all participants. Player to coach ratios are maintained at no higher than 3 to 1. The same coaches are present at all sessions to create a consistency that encourages a connection between players and coaches. The program encourages the participation of typically developing siblings in each class to allow siblings to play together and act as role models. It will culminate in a medal ceremony for participants celebrating their continuing progress in the session.

The SPORTS PLUS model permits challenges to be provided to players with a wide variety of skills. The end result is a successful, rewarding and exciting physical and social experience for children and their families.

Class space is limited so you are encouraged to register immediately. If you have any questions or need more information you may contact the SPORTS PLUS program at (301)452-3781 or by e-mail at info@playsportsplus.org.

No Classes on October 13th for Columbus Day weekend.
