Although we cannot offer our traditional indoor, in-person programs and summer camp for the time being, you don't have to go this summer without the fun and accomplishments of Sports Plus programs! Over the past few months, Sports Plus has implemented a wide variety of virtual programs with great success and popularity. The Sports Plus Summer 2020 Experience will bring the best aspects of our in-person camps and programs along with the best of our new virtual, remote programs right into your home.
Sports Plus is an award winning non-profit organization that offers uniquely structured sports and social programs. Programs are designed for participants ages 5-25 with mild to moderate autism and other developmental disabilities who are able to follow simple directions.
Activities will include fitness, music, art, yoga, guided socialization, games and virtual field trips.
Our experience will include utilization of advanced features of the Zoom platform to enhance interactivity, small and personal class sizes, Sports Plus coaches that the participants know, experienced volunteers, and age and skill appropriate peer groups.
Our day will include 2.5 hours of live programming. A dynamic program that will feature both high energy fitness and other activities, and a half-hour social at the end of the day. Feel free to bring your lunch!
